Mark Langfan, the American-Israel Security 3D-Map topographer, and this year’s co-recipient of the Justice Louis D. Brandeis Award at the upcoming Zionist Organization of America dinner along with his father William, has offered concrete evidence which conclusively debunks the litany of falsehoods and distortions found in the book “Israel Lobby” written by Professors Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer.
The book, originally published in 2006, asserts that “Israel is no longer a vital military strategic ally of the United States.”
Using basic and clear multi-colored graphic maps of the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean, Langfan has presented his findings to members of the US Congress and Senate.
If Israel were to be destroyed, he says, the Middle East would be rapidly engulfed by an Islamist Caliphatic “tsunami” which could conceivably immobilize Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and Greece; resulting in an exponential spike in oil prices to $300 a barrel.

After conducting assiduous research, Langfan sent an e-mail communication to Professor Walt and the entire Harvard Strategic Institute faculty in May of 2011 which contained the graphics of the region. According to the text of the e-mail which was released to the media by Langfan, he said that Professor Walt “has unknowingly, aided and abetted America’s most implacable and lethal strategic enemies to the irreparable detriment of the United States by espousing his specious theory.”
Langfan also called on Professor Walt “to publicly retract his bogus theory immediately before it does even more harm to the national security of the United States.”

Stating that his graphics prove that “Walt and Mearsheimer are both modern-day Lindberghs”, Langfan compares him to one who places Americans’ security interests at risk. Charles Lindbergh was the American aviator hero who aggressively lobbied Americans on behalf of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany and against Great Britain before Germany declared war against the United States in World War II.
On Sunday evening, November 20th, Langfan and his father William will be honored for their “tireless” efforts on Israel’s behalf at the ZOA Gala in New York.
