A short while ago, on September 8, 2014, the once-leftist politician, now Israeli Intelligence Minister, Yuval Steinitz, speaking at a conference held by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya, said, “Every examination of what happened in Gaza, and every look at what is happening around Israel, leads to the conclusion that the demand for Israel to withdraw to the 1967 lines, without holding on to the Jordan Valley, without defensible borders, without security control, and without the demilitarization of Gaza… is a recipe for collective suicide.”

On September 24, 2014, President Obama, speaking at the United Nations General Assembly told the world: “The violence engulfing the region today has made too many Israelis ready to abandon the hard work of peace.  And that’s something worthy of reflection within Israel.”

In fact, “The violence engulfing the region [and Gaza] today has made too many Israelis ready to abandon” the collective suicide of the “Peace Process,” and that’s worthy of reflection within Israel.

President Obama’s speech should have read “that’s worthy of reflection outside of Israel.”  The president’s disconnected notion of world “security” has unleashed such world-wide mass-massacres and ultra-chaos that even the usually soft-spoken Pope Francis had to publicly admit that we are now in a “Piecemeal World War Three.”

The entire “Two-state solution” relies on the President of the US, US troops, and “American generals” defending Israel against a “West Bank” terror state.

And a review of relatively recent Obama/US Military security lapses may be a source of lessons-learned on a possible United States’ defense of Israel against a “West Bank” Hamas/ISIS terror State.

The Nidal Hasan Fort Hood Islamist Massacre

On November 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, Texas, one of the l

argest, and most secure, military bases in the United States, Nidal Hasan, who was in known prior email contact with Anwar al-Awlaki the known-terrorist preacher in Yemen, murdered 13 soldiers and injured 30 others inside of a continental US military base while screaming “Allahu Akbar.”

Obama calls that a “work-place accident.”  “Army employees were informed of the [Hasan-al-Awlaki-terrorist/preacher] e-mails [well prior to the actual Hasan Fort Hood shooting], but did not perceive any terroristic threat in Hasan’s questions.”

If Obama and the entire United States Military can’t protect their own military bases in America from Muslim American soldiers in known contact with terrorist-master-minds, and calls the subsequent Islamist-inspired murder-spree, a non-Islam-inspired ‘word-place accident,” how is the US military ever going to defend Tel Aviv from a Hamas/ISIS terror attack?

Obama’s Catastrophic Retreat From Iraq

December 14, 2011, President Obama crowed to an audience of soldiers at Fort Bragg that the “final pullout from Iraq after nearly nine years of war is a “historic” moment and that the country they leave behind is “an extraordinary achievement.””  But, to Iraq, and the rest of the world, the pullout was a one-way ticket to an ISIS-hell. Are Israelis are supposed to rely on President Obama’s military understanding’ strategic vision and Middle-east savoir-faire in leaving the “West Bank”?

Obama’s Afghanistan

Obama’s maladroit handling of Afghanistan is still causing American soldiers to get murdered left and right and return home to Dover Air Force Base in flag-draped coffins. Enough said.

The “American Intelligence Community’s” ISIS Intelligence failure (Obama’s recent “admission” will get its own op-ed.)

Why focus only on President Obama’s incompetence?  How about the entire “American Intelligence Community”?  Of the rise of ISIS, James Clapper, the current-sitting US Director of National Intelligence, just admitted in an  interview in the Washington Post that: We underestimated the Islamic State’s ‘will to fight.’

USDNI, Mr. Clapper actually said, “What we didn’t do was predict the will to fight. That’s always a problem. We didn’t do it in Vietnam. We underestimated the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese and overestimated the will of the South Vietnamese. In this case, we underestimated ISIL [the Islamic State] and overestimated the fighting capability of the Iraqi army. . . . I didn’t see the collapse of the Iraqi security force in the north coming. I didn’t see that. It boils down to predicting the will to fight, which is an imponderable.”

This is the same “American Intelligence Community” giving Israel, and Obama advice and intelligence on Israel’s security in the “Two-state solution,” and on Hamas’ will to fight Fatah after Israel retreats from Judea and Samaria.

The White House’s November 11, 2011, One-way Gun Battle

How about the vaunted US Secret Service personally protecting Obama, his children, and the White House itself??  The Washington Post reported that on November 11, 2011:

“The gunman parked his black Honda directly south of the White House, in the dark of a November night, in a closed lane of Constitution Avenue. He pointed his long, semiautomatic rifle out of the passenger window, aimed directly at the home of the president of the United States, and pulled the trigger.

“A bullet smashed a window on the second floor, just steps from the first family’s formal living room. Another lodged in a window frame, and more pinged off the roof, sending bits of wood and concrete to the ground. At least seven bullets struck the upstairs residence of the White House, flying some 700 yards across the South Lawn.”

“Secret Servicemen and women drew their guns only to be told, “No shots have been fired. . . . Stand down,” a supervisor called over his radio. He said the noise was the backfire from a nearby construction vehicle.

“It took the Secret Service five days to realize that shots had hit the White House residence, a discovery that came about only because a housekeeper noticed broken glass and a chunk of cement on the floor.”

Seven bullets were actually fired into the White House with Pres. Obama’s children in residence, and it took the US Secret Service 5 days to figure out that shots had been fired into the White House that broke cement and glass.

Obama can’t defend his own children in the White House, and Israelis are supposed to believe America can defend Israelis in an indefensible pre-1967 Israel alongside a Palestinian terror-state perched in the Mountains of Judea and Samaria, aka, the “West Bank.”

Conclusion: Charity, and security, begin at home.

In short, Obama, the US Military and Secret Service, can’t defend the White House, or the most secure U.S. military bases from Islamic terror attacks, let alone defend Israel thousands of miles away.

If Obama makes a “mistake” in Iraq, America still hums along, protected between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.  If Obama makes a catastrophic mistake about a PA State, Israel will not be there the day after Hamas launches thousands of Katyushas into Tel Aviv.

Instead of Obama preaching to Israelis to “reflect” on their not wanting to commit “collective suicide,” Obama, and the “American Intelligence Community,” should “reflect” on how they are failing to protect America from Islamic mass-murder on American soil.

Charity  “begins at home”, but so does security.
